UX Lead - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a strategic and experienced UX Lead to guide and oversee the user experience direction across the program, collaborating closely with Product Managers to ensure a Human-Centered Design approach is embedded throughout all product development efforts.

In Short

• Define and oversee the UX vision across all products and sprint teams.
• Partner with Product Managers to align UX priorities with program goals.
• Conduct regular 1:1 sessions with UX practitioners for guidance and support.
• Strategically allocate UX resources to support sprint teams and program needs.
• Champion the adoption of Human-Centered Design principles throughout the program.
• Oversee UX practitioners to ensure consistency in user experience and design quality.
• Continuously refine UX processes and tools for improved efficiency.
• Act as the primary UX representative in stakeholder discussions.
• Review and provide feedback on UX deliverables for usability and design integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Design, Psychology, or related field; Master’s is a plus.
• 7+ years of UX design experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience leading UX efforts in Agile environments.
• Strong knowledge of Human-Centered Design methodologies.
• Exceptional collaboration skills with Product Managers and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions.
• Proficiency in UX design and research tools like Figma and Mural.
• Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust or other required clearance.
