Overview

The Assistant Clinical Director supports the Clinical Director in overseeing clinical operations, supervising masters level clinicians, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming ABA services. This leadership role blends a small caseload (3–5 clients) with administrative responsibilities, including the oversight of 6–7 ABA Case Supervisors, participation in staff training and development, quality assurance initiatives, and assistance in strategic clinical planning.

In Short

  • Maintain high standards of care in client programming and staff supervision.
  • Support ABA Case Supervisors through regular supervision meetings.
  • Carry a caseload of 3–5 clients and fulfill responsibilities such as conducting FBAs.
  • Review and support the development of high-quality assessments and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate on quality assurance and documentation tracking.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new clinical staff.
  • Assist with the design and delivery of professional development initiatives.
  • Contribute to operational decision-making related to staffing and service delivery.
  • Ensure clinical services comply with IBHS regulations and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in weekly leadership meetings.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.
  • Active PA Behavior Specialist License required before start date.
  • Certification as a BCBA for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of ethical service provision.
  • Have all PA required clearances from within the last 3 years.
