Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team at Howard Financial. In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in day-to-day bookkeeping practices will ensure that our clients’ financial data is organized and compliant.

In Short

• Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping for multiple clients across various industries
• Accurately record daily financial transactions including sales, receipts, and payments
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable, managing invoices and payments
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting efforts for clients
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with accountants and other team members to fulfill client needs
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Relevant certification in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus
