Overview

The Portfolio Accountant supports the mission of enriching lives through investment and service by managing financial aspects of assigned properties.

In Short

Prepare financial statement packages with journal entries and general ledger reviews.
Deliver financial packages accurately and timely to stakeholders.
Answer financial inquiries from clients and internal teams.
Monitor cash balances and resolve financial discrepancies.
Analyze variances in financial statements.
Review financials for errors and approve cash entries.
Ensure timely payments for debts and taxes.
Review leases for accuracy and collaborate on financial intentions.
Develop procedures for reconciliations.
Assist with property transitions and audits.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
At least 2 years of accounting experience preferred.
Experience in property accounting is a plus.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and confidentiality.
Experience with lease documents preferred.
