In Short

• Conduct predominantly telemedicine consultations aimed at comprehensive assessments and care of patients with chronic complaints (focus on gut health, hormonal health, obesity, and nutrition-specific disorders).
• Collaborate in an interdisciplinary team of nutritionists, therapists, and health coaches to ensure holistic patient care.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tests (e.g., microbiome or hormone analyses) to develop informed therapy approaches.
• Continuously monitor patients to track progress and adjust treatment strategies.
• Document patient data according to legal requirements and data protection regulations.
• Actively participate in training, internal workshops, and knowledge transfer in the field of functional medicine.

Requirements

• Completed medical degree with additional training in Internal Medicine (FMH General Internal Medicine), further training in phytotherapy, nutritional medicine, integrative medicine, and/or IFM certification is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in outpatient primary care.
• Motivation and interest in holistic health approaches and personalized medicine.
• Knowledge in interpreting functional laboratory diagnostics is an advantage (e.g., microbiome, nutrient, and hormone analyses).
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to explain complex medical issues understandably.
• Fluent in German and English (additional languages are a plus).
• Willingness to utilize and actively shape innovative approaches in digital health care.
