Senior Social Media Manager - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for scaling our social channels Instagram and TikTok, driving our organic strategies in collaboration with the Performance Marketing team, and leading a team of social media colleagues.

In Short

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase reach, engagement, and brand awareness.
• Support the operational management of our social media channels (TikTok & Instagram).
• Collaborate with colleagues and external freelancers to create engaging content.
• Plan campaigns and content in close coordination with the marketing and community team.
• Identify and engage relevant influencers and content creators for collaborations.
• Analyze the performance of our content and campaigns and derive optimizations.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in social media management, ideally in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of social media strategies for organic growth and paid social.
• Creative sense for target audience-appropriate content and awareness of current social media trends.
• Experience in content creation (text, graphics, videos) using tools like Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Ability to work independently, solution-oriented, proactively, and structured.
• Fluent in German and English, able to communicate confidently in both languages.
• Passionate about our mission and have a good understanding of civic engagement and social change.
