They are the first Canadian rewards program enabling renters to pay rent digitally, earn rewards on rent, and report rent payments to credit bureaus. The platform helps renters get a leg up, and their team is passionate about changing the landscape for Canadian renters.

In Short

• Lead the development of a mobile application.
• Own the architecture, development, and launch of a mobile platform.
• Build and deploy robust, scalable mobile applications in React Native.
• Collaborate with the CTO and senior engineering team.
• Integrate financial APIs for secure payment features.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Work with Firebase databases and Google Cloud Platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of React Native development experience.
• Strong knowledge of frontend engineering.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining APIs.
• Exceptional skills with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with sensitive and secure data is a plus.
• Background in building apps from the ground up is preferred.
