Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to support our growing finance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end AP process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to vendors, and maintaining clean records that align with our financial operations.

In Short

• Process invoices accurately and on time, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and documentation.
• Manage payment cycles (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly), including ACH, wire transfers, and credit card reconciliations.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate AP records and assist with month-end close, including accruals and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to verify receipt of goods/services before issuing payment.
• Support audits by preparing AP-related reports and documentation.
• Assist with process improvements and automation initiatives within AP operations.
