Motion Graphics Designer for EdTech - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a creative Motion Graphic Designer who can take our student and mentor stories and bring them to life through short-form, high-performing video content. You’ll lead the charge on video editing, motion graphics, and social media publishing, with a deep understanding of what makes content pop on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Meta.

In Short

• Own post-production for all short-form content (30–90s) — from idea to publish-ready
• Create branded intros, animated titles, kinetic text, and transitions that elevate storytelling
• Repurpose long-form content into snackable video cuts for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts
• Enhance student and mentor interviews with subtle motion overlays and brand-forward animation
• Create visually compelling content that performs well organically and in paid ads
• Publish consistently across Instagram, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other key platforms
• Track content performance and report on key metrics: reach, shares, saves, and conversions
• 2–3 years of experience in video editing, with strong storytelling instincts
• Proficient in After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar editing tools
• Comfortable working in a US-based startup environment

Requirements

• Experience in organic social media growth
• Familiar with motion design that complements voiceovers or interview footage
• Able to work fast without sacrificing quality
• Strong copywriting instincts for captions, headlines, and scroll-stopping hooks
