JavaScript/React Developer - Remote

Highcharts started as a small hobby project to show snow depth at Vikafjellet. Today it has grown to become the world's most used library for data visualization – utilized by 80 of the 100 largest companies globally.

At Highsoft, we create tools that developers actually enjoy using. We work closely with the product, the code, and each other. Ideas transition from early thoughts to actual features that developers worldwide use.

In Short

• Join a team working across product, design, and development to enhance Highcharts, especially in React.
• Engage in real product development, creating new functionalities and improving existing ones.
• Write, test, and debug code, balancing user needs with product direction.
• Translate design and requirements into solid technical solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture, and code reviews.
• Occasionally communicate with users through interviews or testing.

Requirements

• Experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Interest in reusable components and good frontend structure.
• Practical approach and focus on quality.
• Experience with Angular, Vue, Tailwind, Next.js, or Node.js is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, universal design, or modern CSS is beneficial.
• Experience with larger applications or component libraries is advantageous.
