Overview

We are looking for a talented Procedural Technical Artist to join our production team and work on an exciting new IP. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Level Art Team, Content Technical Directors, Technical Artists, and Art Direction to craft inviting, high-quality worlds using procedural techniques. You’ll play a critical part in shaping the visual quality of our game by developing procedural systems and tools to streamline the creation of dynamic, immersive environments. This position requires a balance of creativity and technical expertise to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Unreal Engine 5.

In Short

  • Develop, implement, and maintain procedural asset creation tools in Unreal Engine 5.
  • Accelerate the building of virtual worlds using proceduralism as your tool.
  • Collaborate closely with environment artists, level designers, and other technical artists to define and optimize pipelines.
  • Participate in the art research to identify, define and build the solutions.
  • Ensure that the solutions fit with our creative, production and technical vision / targets.
  • Troubleshoot, Debug, profile, and optimize content to ensure high performance on various platforms.
  • Assist with Unreal Engine 5 scripting, blueprinting, and technical documentation to support team workflows.
  • Communicate with content creation teams and creative direction to propose ideas, solutions.

Requirements

  • Has at least 3+ years of experience as Technical Artist in the video game industry.
  • Has experience with Unreal 5 game engine, Unreal PCG Framework or is open to learn it.
  • Experience working with UE Blueprints building tools for Artists.
  • Has good knowledge and experience with relevant content creation tools (Maya, 3dsMax, Houdini, etc).
  • Familiar with artists workflows and processes.
  • Strong video game technical knowledge (performance, memory, streaming, debugging).
  • Autonomous, enthusiasm and initiative.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
