Remote Licensed Therapist (1099 Contractor)

Overview

Headspace is currently seeking part-time, independently licensed contractor therapists to provide direct, virtual care as part of a multidisciplinary team. This role allows therapists to work flexibly while contributing to the mental health of clients.

In Short

• Provide teletherapy to patients over a HIPAA compliant platform.
• Offer a minimum of 5 sessions per week with flexible scheduling.
• Complete clinical case notes within 48 hours of sessions.
• Maintain communication with clinical leadership.
• Work collaboratively with a care team.
• Must be licensed in Wisconsin and reside in the U.S.
• Experience with various care delivery technologies is required.
• Access to a 12-month Headspace subscription.
• Malpractice insurance coverage provided.
• Flexibility in scheduling is encouraged.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in clinical psychotherapy.
• Independent clinical license in good standing.
• Competence in evidence-based practices.
• Ability to provide culturally responsive care.
• Effective communication skills.
• Tech-savvy with experience in EMR and video conferencing tools.
• Availability for night and weekend sessions is a plus.
• Experience with higher acuity cases preferred.
• Licensure in multiple states is valued.
• Adolescent or Spanish specialty is a plus.
