Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Security Engineer at Hayden AI, you will lead our cybersecurity initiatives, safeguarding our code and infrastructure against evolving threats while managing security for our production and corporate systems.

In Short

• Develop and implement security strategies for cloud environments (AWS and GCP).
• Design and manage public/private key management and PKI for edge devices.
• Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
• Implement security protocols for edge devices.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Develop and enforce security policies and conduct training.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security in SDLC.
• Respond to security incidents and lead investigations.
• Manage CIS compliant OS images for cloud infrastructure.
• Possess knowledge of application security and testing methodologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Golang or Python programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of encryption protocols and PKI.
• Understanding of network security and secure coding principles.
• Experience in cloud security management (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with security policies for corporate applications.
• Strong skills in managing security tools and vendor relationships.
• Excellent ability to develop security policies and guidelines.
• Understanding of blockchain principles is a plus.
