Student Assistant in Legal - Remote

Overview

You will support the Legal Team at HateAid by maintaining legal databases and gaining practical insights into the work of a civil society organization. This role is flexible, meaningful, and team-oriented.

In Short

• Maintain documentation and databases.
• Keep track of ongoing procedures and compile relevant information.
• Assist the team in the introduction and use of new software.
• Support the Legal Team with internal legal questions.
• Optionally assist the communication team with press reviews and community management.

Requirements

• Enrolled at a German university.
• Residence in Germany and fluent in German.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Preferably studying law or interested in legal terms.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Patient and focused on repetitive tasks.
• Independent, responsible, and goal-oriented work ethic.
• Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions.
• Familiar with various digital tools and confident in MS Office.
• Politically aware and committed to combating digital violence.
