Grifols is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join their Global Application and Systems Team, focusing on ensuring the cybersecurity integrity of diagnostic instruments and connected systems.

In Short

• Serve as the cybersecurity point of contact within the Technical Support department.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and Regulatory teams to assess and address cybersecurity risks.
• Support secure configuration, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Assist in incident response and root cause analysis for cybersecurity-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., FDA, MDR, ISO/IEC 27001).
• Maintain documentation and reports related to cybersecurity activities.
• Provide training and awareness on cybersecurity best practices.
• Participate in audits and regulatory inspections as needed.
• Contribute to the development of secure support processes and tools.
• Stay current with emerging threats and technologies in medical device cybersecurity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Typically requires 5 years of related experience in cybersecurity, preferably in the medical device or diagnostics industry.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with diagnostic instruments, embedded systems, and networked medical devices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• High attention to detail and integrity in handling sensitive information.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and incident response practices.
