Junior Investment and Project Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

This role combines strategic thinking and financial expertise to make a real impact in the energy transition by supporting investment and project financing decisions within a leading BESS project platform in Europe.

In Short

• Support strategic and operational investment decisions by analyzing and evaluating projects and pipelines.
• Develop and enhance financial models and business cases, including scenario analyses and risk assessments.
• Structure project financing and liaise with leading national and international banks.
• Contribute to the analysis and negotiation of financing structures and assist in contract reviews.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments and prepare decision documents for management and the investment committee.

Requirements

• Successful degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Natural Sciences (or equivalent).
• Initial relevant practical experience in a dynamic environment such as Investment Banking, Private Equity, Consulting, VC, or Start-Up.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a high affinity for numbers.
• Proactive, structured, and independent working style with ambition to take on responsibility early.
• Excellent communication skills with fluent German and business-level English proficiency.
