The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Prescription Refill Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of prescription refill requests. • Review and process prescription refill requests per provider-approved protocols.
• Verify patient information, prescription history, and medication details.

Requirements

• Current and active LVN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in medication management or prescription refills is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (NextGen experience preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Solid understanding of medications, dosages, interactions, and indications.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards, including HIPAA.
