Project Manager MENA - Remote

Overview

As a Project Manager within the Peace & Security Department of GOPA PACE, your key role is the autonomous management of project development and implementation processes, focusing on peace & conflict prevention, security, migration & forced displacement.

• Manage tender acquisition processes and coordinate bids.
• Expand networks of experts, clients, and partners.
• Lead and manage projects across various domains.
• Organize field monitoring missions for project quality assurance.
• Oversee project organization and financial aspects.
• Contribute to developing and implementing strategies within the department.
• Identify technical trends and market developments.
• Assist in broadening the donor landscape.
• Support junior colleagues under supervision.
• Willingness to travel to Libya.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Security Studies, or relevant fields.
• Master’s degree or postgraduate qualifications are an asset.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent representation and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of EU cooperation policies.
• Familiarity with EU funding procedures.
• Ability to establish long-term relationships with stakeholders.
• Computer skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
