Senior Director of Information Security and Risk Management - Remote

Overview

As the strategic leader of our enterprise security, you’ll define and drive the vision for safeguarding our systems, data, and customers. This role blends big-picture strategy with deep technical expertise — overseeing application security, infrastructure security, SOC operations, incident response, and third-party risk management.

In Short

• Overseeing all aspects of information security, including application security, infrastructure security, SOC operations, incident response, and third-party risk management
• Serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on security posture, risk, and enterprise resilience
• Defining and executing the company’s security strategy aligned with business objectives
• Leading major incident response efforts
• Partnering with IT, DevOps, and business units to embed security into technology and processes
• Managing SOC operations and threat detection
• Ensuring adherence to leading security and compliance frameworks
• Supporting compliance teams during audits and assessments
• Building the foundation for a scalable security organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering and 10+ years of professional experience in information security
• At least 5 years of experience in progressive leadership roles
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide security programs
• Strong knowledge of cloud security architecture (AWS, Azure)
• Deep understanding of security and compliance frameworks
• Recognized security certifications such as CISSP or CISM
• Hands-on experience with security tools
• Experience in Healthcare IT environments
• Executive presence with strong presentation skills
• Strategic thinker with an outcome-focused mindset
