Data Analyst (Short-Term) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong data modeling and analytics engineering skills to support the design, structuring, and interpretation of HR data within a modern cloud-based data platform. This is a short-term engagement (3–6 months) focused on transforming raw HR data into scalable, well-governed, and analytics-ready datasets that support reporting, AI-driven HR agents, and business decision-making.

In Short

• Analyze and interpret large volumes of HR data
• Design and implement scalable logical and physical data models
• Develop and maintain a semantic layer for HR metrics
• Collaborate with data engineers for data integration
• Partner with AI teams for automated HR agents
• Define data validation rules and compliance standards
• Translate stakeholder requirements into data models
• Create and maintain documentation for data models

Requirements

• Strong experience in data modeling
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt
• Familiarity with AWS data services
• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems
• Understanding of semantic layer design
• Ability to translate business requirements into data models
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
