GiveDirectly is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the design, evaluation, and deployment of cutting-edge payment solutions that support cash transfers to people affected by crises or in extreme poverty—anywhere in the world.

• Lead the product vision and roadmap for international payments infrastructure.
• Investigate and recommend international payment solutions.
• Build systems for integrating new payment rails into operations.

• Must be able to travel 1-2 times per year for team retreats.
• Work in a fully remote environment with East Africa timezone overlap.
• Support crisis response with technical insights.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with international digital payment systems.
• Understanding of global remittance infrastructures and compliance issues.
• Experience with blockchain and cryptocurrency payment solutions.
• Ability to work in high ambiguity and low-structure environments.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Technical fluency with payments APIs and security standards.
• Fluency in English.
