Overview

As a Software Developer Expert at GDIT, you will deliver simple solutions to complex problems while ensuring the end user’s experience is prioritized. Your role will involve developing and debugging important software for the Department of Defense.

In Short

• Develop and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications software.
• Collaborate with project sponsors to debug and implement solutions.
• Work with High Performance Computers (HPC).
• Utilize knowledge in FORTRAN and C++ software development.
• Focus on Coastal Storm Modeling System (CSTORM-MS).
• Required to have a Secret security clearance.
• Education requirements include technical training or an MS degree.
• 10+ years of related experience required.
• Problem-solving and strong communication skills are essential.

Requirements

• 7+ years of related experience.
• Experience with Coastal Storm Modeling System (CSTORM-MS).
• Strong knowledge of C++ and FORTRAN.
• Experience working with High Performance Computing (HPC).
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Secret security clearance required.
• Technical training, certification(s), or MS degree preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
