Overview

As an Infrastructure Specialist SME at GDIT, you will apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize business strategy while supporting clients’ challenges and contributing to Zero Trust modernization efforts.

In Short

• Support the implementation of infrastructure solutions.
• Contribute to full lifecycle engineering efforts.
• Lead technical contributions in delivery efforts.
• Integrate with various teams to deliver solutions.
• Provide SME guidance and on-site engagement.
• Work with Government Customers, preferably the US Military.
• 10+ years of related experience required.
• Education in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge in virtualization and network operations.
• Strong communication and analytical skills necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive technical SME experience.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration.
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Experience with unclassified and classified environments.
• Knowledge of endpoint management and protection.
• Experience in infrastructure and network operations.
• Experience working with the US Military preferred.
