Overview

The Pl Surveyor I / Oceanographic Surveyor I will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and processing hydrographic, oceanographic, geophysical, topographical, geological, environmental, cartographic, and geodetic data.

In Short

  • Collect and analyze various types of data.
  • Operate and maintain equipment and systems.
  • Participate in deck operations including winch operations and equipment recovery.
  • Generate reports and logs of activities and data collected.
  • Work offshore with a schedule of 14x14 days or more depending on the project.
  • Install and calibrate navigation systems and equipment.
  • Perform data acquisition and processing tasks.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and operation of equipment.
  • Record operations and maintenance data.
  • Work in compliance with company procedures and client contracts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Oceanography, Hydrography, Geology, Geophysics, Cartography, Geography, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Technical training in Topography or related fields is a plus.
  • Ability to work offshore under specific schedules.
