Major Gifts Assistant - Remote

Overview

The Major Gifts Assistant plays a crucial role in enhancing donor relationships and maintaining donor information for the Major Gifts Department.

In Short

• Assist with communication for donor cultivation and solicitation.
• Prepare and proofread donor mailings and acknowledgments.
• Maintain and input donor data in the database.
• Document information to enhance donor profiles.
• Produce specialized letters, mailing lists, and reports.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant software to improve donor communication.
• Understand and articulate PETA's objectives and programs.
• Cultivate relationships with targeted donors.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of non-profit fundraising experience.
• Working knowledge of Major Gifts processes.
• Experience with fundraising software and database systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of animal liberation issues and PETA campaigns.
• Good proofreading skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
