Overview

The Affordable Leasing Professional is responsible for showing and leasing apartments to prospective residents while maintaining strong resident relations and adhering to compliance regulations.

In Short

• Communicates with prospective residents and current residents.
• Develops and maintains resident relations.
• Accompanies prospects to model apartments.
• Makes follow-up calls to prospective residents.
• Completes lease forms and collects deposits.
• Inspects model apartments and arranges maintenance.
• Updates listings of available rental units.
• Assists with newspaper advertisements.
• Contacts credit bureaus and previous landlords.
• Substitutes for Assistant Manager when necessary.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Six months to one year related experience.
• Ability to generate reports and correspondence.
• Mathematical skills for calculations.
• Common sense reasoning for problem-solving.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment.
• Physical ability to perform job duties.
