Freelance: CFX Artist - New York - Remote

Overview

Framestore's New York studio is looking for CFX Artists to join us for an episodic project that is sure to be an adventure!

In Short

• Responsible for setting up skin, muscle, cloth, and hair simulations.
• Maintain and support rigs/setups through production.
• Run shots in production.
• Build, maintain, and test simulation rigs and setups.
• Develop tools for simulation rigs and running shot simulations.
• Perform technical animation and shot sculpting.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Address technical and creative feedback from supervisors.
• Available from April 14, 2025 - October 31, 2025.
• Preferably able to work a hybrid schedule in New York.

Requirements

• Experience in CFX and simulation.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with technical animation.
• Good communication skills for feedback.
