Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Remote

Overview

FinStrat Management (“FSM”) is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a client-facing Chief Financial Officer. This is a great opportunity to build a team, implement best practices, and help scale both our company and our clients.

In Short

• Manage FSM client engagements as a virtual Chief Financial Officer
• Provide insight and recommendations related to clients' growth strategy
• Implement controls, frameworks, policies and systems for data utilization
• Analyze clients' financial results with respect to profits and trends
• Present and provide insight on financial results and key metrics
• Provide leadership in financial transactions and partnerships
• Manage cash utilization and debt facilities
• Collaborate with clients' CRO and sales team on contracts
• Serve as a liaison between clients and their outside legal counsel
• Oversee clients' stock option, commission, and benefit plans

Requirements

• 10+ years of financial experience with recent experience as CFO or VP of Finance
• Solid understanding of software revenue recognition and SaaS metrics
• Success in implementing and optimizing processes for growth
• Experience in leading fundraising efforts at growth stage companies
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
• CPA preferred but not required
