Senior Program Manager - Remote

Overview

The Senior Program Manager will support the division's research and consultative capability for aeromedical, chemical, biological, and radiological health hazard needs, as well as research for the biomedical impact of flight.

In Short

• Support day-to-day operations within the Air and Space Biosciences Division.
• Apply acquisition and program management principles.
• Assess budget execution across different funding types.
• Develop and support finalizing program independent cost estimates.
• Work with a team of finance, contracting, and program managers.
• Provide expertise in strategic acquisition planning.
• Develop technical documentation and briefings for leadership.
• Participate in portfolio reviews and meetings.
• Ensure timely implementation of corrective actions for issues.
• Utilize Microsoft software programs for project reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration/management, finance, or accounting.
• 10+ years of program/project management experience in DoD or federal service.
• Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process.
• Understanding of fiscal restrictions and contract vehicles.
• Experience in developing program cost estimates.
• Demonstrated experience in writing technical documentation.
• Highly desired: Experience with Air Force accounting systems.
• Experience in a STEM or R&D work environment.
• DoD Financial Manager certification is a plus.
