Senior Backend Engineer - Node.js - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to expand and optimize our digital advertisement SaaS suite of applications.

In Short

• Designing microservices and other back-end components.
• Integrating data storage, monitoring and protection solutions.
• Conducting regular code reviews and providing guidance to team members.
• Contributing to workload estimations, project planning and architecture discussions.
• Developing and maintaining high-performance applications.
• Implementing effective security protocols and data protection measures.
• Running diagnostic tests and providing technical support.
• Documenting server-side processes and preparing reports.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
• Providing mentorship to team members.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of NodeJS based services.
• Good knowledge of AWS and/or Kafka.
• Great knowledge of GraphQL/REST-APIs.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Ability to develop scalable microservices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Ability to mentor and guide other engineers.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Passion for elevating engineering standards.
