Accountant (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB, consolidating all subsidiaries, and managing ongoing business transactions.

In Short

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Consolidate all subsidiaries of the Exmox Group.
• Review and post ongoing business transactions in the general ledger.
• Address tax-related questions, manage tax provisions, and submit VAT returns.
• Assist in optimizing accounting processes.
• Act as the contact person for auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments.
• Responsible for the preparation and submission of the monthly IFRS reporting package to the Swedish parent company.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or a degree with a focus on accounting/taxation.
• Further training as an accountant (IHK) or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in accounting.
• Solid knowledge of HGB, ideally also IFRS.
• Proficient in common accounting and consolidation systems (e.g., Netsuite and LucaNet is a plus).
• Independent and structured working style as well as teamwork skills.
• Good MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
