Senior Environmental Engineer or Scientist (Site Remediation) - Remote

Overview

ERG is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer or Scientist to oversee environmental site assessment and remediation projects for our State and Federal clients across a variety of regulatory programs.

In Short

• Direct medium to large scale complex projects to ensure internal and external expectations are met for scope, budget, schedule and quality.
• Write and review technical documents, reports and engineering designs including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Review Sampling and Analysis Plans and Quality Assurance Project Plans.
• Interpret engineering, geological, hydrogeological, and chemical data from contaminated sites.
• Manage and train junior and mid-level staff.
• Assist with recruitment of environmental site assessment and site remediation staff.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental site assessment and remediation.
• Experience with Brownfields, CERCLA, RCRA Corrective Action and/or state VRP.
• Proven project manager with ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractors.
• Knowledgeable in current and emerging remedial technologies.
• Ability to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER Certified.
• Be able to carry 25 pounds, climb ladders, and work on elevated platforms.
