Overview

This internship position focuses on providing strategic support for the development of a sustainability program at Engineers and Geoscientists BC, aimed at over 5000 firm registrants in the region.

In Short

  • Internship for engineering/geoscience students
  • Contract duration: four months starting May 2025
  • Support development of sustainability program
  • Engage with Climate Change and Sustainability Advisory Group
  • Assist in creating training resources and program documents
  • Conduct research aligning with professional practice guidelines
  • Work in a hybrid environment with a minimum of 2 in-office days

Requirements

  • 3rd or 4th-year student in engineering or geoscience
  • Eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC upon graduation
  • Understanding of climate science and sustainability preferred
