Overview

Emergent Method is seeking a qualified Data Conversion Business Analyst to support the design and testing of the data conversion activities for a state government agency. This is a full-time position that will support ongoing project operations. Remote candidates will be considered and are encouraged to apply.

In Short

Work with end-users to identify and document business and technical requirements
Translate requirements into functional and technical designs
Support data conversion developers for data migration and conversion activities
Conduct data analysis and profiling for accuracy
Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies
Document data quality issues and perform data cleansing activities
Collaborate with application teams to address issues
Create and execute complex SQL queries
Analyze source data and perform data gap analysis
Provide support for user acceptance testing

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field
At least two years of experience as a data conversion business analyst
Five years working with relational databases
Five years in implementing SQL queries
Experience in translating business requirements into designs
Three years of experience in data analysis using SQL
Experience with JIRA
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
