Overview

We are looking for a Junior Advanced SysAdmin to support an Open Source Robotics project, contributing to the stability and reliability of tools that power thousands of robotic systems worldwide.

In Short

  • Monitor and maintain the public buildfarm infrastructure for ROS and Gazebo.
  • Investigate test and build regressions, flaky test behavior, and system warnings.
  • Collaborate with upstream developers to report and address issues.
  • Propose and implement improvements to the buildfarm processes and tooling.
  • Learn and grow while contributing to widely adopted open-source technologies.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in Linux.
  • System administration or operations work.
  • Good knowledge of Python and Bash for scripting.
  • Familiarity with Git environments.
  • Attention to detail and strong investigative skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to propose improvements.
