Chief of Staff to the CTO - Remote

Overview

As the Chief of Staff to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will play a critical role in shaping the CTO organization's strategy, operations, and effectiveness.

In Short

• Partner with the CTO to develop and execute the technology organization’s strategic vision.
• Lead the CTO organization's annual and quarterly strategic planning process.
• Define and drive the CTO organization-wide operating rhythm.
• Own and manage the technology organization’s budget.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between the CTO and engineering leaders.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering efficiency.
• Act as a delegate for the CTO in selected meetings.
• Lead special projects and strategic initiatives.
• Provide insights and recommendations to the CTO.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a leadership or operational role within a technology organization.
• Strong strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing budgets and driving operational efficiency.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems.
• Experience in an Agile software development environment is a plus.
