Overview

Lightstar Renewables is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the expansion of its community solar portfolio across the United States, contributing to the growth of Finance and Capital Markets functions.

In Short

• Maintain financial models for insights and analysis.
• Assist Development team with project financials.
• Contribute to Capital Markets work including debt capital raising.
• Respond to modeling inquiries and evaluations of new projects.
• Compile and maintain project diligence for financing transactions.
• Manage compliance tracking for financial closings.
• Aid Asset Management with tracking financial commitments.
• Work in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

• 100% remote with occasional in-person meetings.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant renewables/infrastructure project finance experience.
• Understanding and passion for the solar industry.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, especially in modeling.
• Core understanding of Finance concepts (DCF, IRR, NPV).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to excel in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
• Creative thinking skills.
