Overview

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse who is looking to give life in a hospital setting, delivering empathetic and compassionate care to patients dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

In Short

  • Support Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton and University Medical Center at Princeton.
  • No dialysis experience required, with training provided.
  • Work in a dynamic hospital environment with a flexible schedule.
  • Deliver nephrology care through various dialysis therapies.
  • Be part of a supportive interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide lifesaving care during scheduled and on-call shifts.
  • Expect a changing daily schedule based on patient needs.
  • Participate in a Joint Commission Accredited Inpatient Dialysis Program.
  • Utilize a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Commit to improving patient health through quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) required; BSN preferred.
  • Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg is helpful but not required.
  • Certification as a Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is a plus.
  • Successful completion of the pre-employment color blind test required.
  • Commitment to improving patient health through clinical goal setting.
