Part-Time Consultant for Data Protection, Information Security, and AI - Remote

Overview

We are a specialized consulting company for data protection, information security, and compliance. We pragmatically and solution-oriented support our clients, primarily small and medium-sized enterprises and authorities, at eye level. To expand our team, we are looking for a consultant in the field of data protection and information security – exclusively remote.

In Short

• Consulting companies and authorities on implementing data protection requirements
• Support in building and developing information security concepts (e.g., according to ISO 27001)
• Assisting in the introduction and evaluation of AI-based systems regarding regulatory requirements (GDPR, AI Regulation)
• Creation and maintenance of data protection documentation (e.g., directories, AV contracts, TOMs)
• Conducting data protection impact assessments, risk analyses, and internal audits
• Supporting the development of our data protection management system
• Conducting training and awareness sessions for employees
• Providing input and ideas on current data protection topics for content, contributions, and newsletters

Requirements

• Professional experience in data protection, IT security, compliance, or related topics
• In-depth knowledge of GDPR and ideally experience with information security standards (e.g., ISO 27001)
• Interest in current developments around AI and new technologies
• Proficient use of digital tools (e.g., MS 365, cloud services)
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in German
