Divine Mercy University (DMU) is a rapidly expanding Catholic graduate school of psychology and counseling, founded in 1999. Located in Sterling, VA, DMU is dedicated to the scientific study of psychology and related fields through a Catholic lens, focusing on the person, marriage, and family. The university offers a Doctoral (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology, online Master of Science (M.S.) degrees in Psychology and Counseling, as well as various online certificate programs. With approximately 400 graduate students and 100 certificate-seeking students, DMU is committed to preparing Catholic and Christian mental health professionals. The institution is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and its doctoral program is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
