Network and Security Engineer – Check Point & Cisco - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and quality-driven Network and Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in administering and supporting Check Point Security Infrastructure and Cloud Services, as well as Cisco WAN, LAN, and WiFi infrastructures and their related systems.

• Proactive and reactive support and monitoring of enterprise network infrastructures.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
• Incident, problem, and change management.
• Vulnerability Management.
• Monitoring and Reporting.
• Assisting with the implementation of solutions based on Check Point, Cisco, SentinelOne, Netskope, Tenable, and other vendors' technologies.
• Undertaking industry and vendor training for compliance and technical development within your role.
• Participating in customer meetings.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in the technologies listed below, or more general experience in IT.
• Extensive experience supporting and maintaining Check Point Security Infrastructure and Cloud Services.
• Experience supporting and maintaining Cisco WAN, LAN, and WiFi infrastructures.
• Experience supporting and maintaining VMware Virtualization environments.
• Experience supporting security solutions in Azure and AWS.
• Experience in a service provider environment supporting enterprise customers.
• Experience working with IT ticketing and monitoring systems.
• Future participation in on-call rostering for 24x7 support.
