Senior Graphics Programmer - Remote

Digital Extremes is looking for a Senior Graphics Programmer to join our team. In this role, you'll have the autonomy to drive initiatives and apply your deep expertise to enhance all aspects of the game. You will have the opportunity to work with our proprietary technology, to push the boundaries of what’s possible. In Short

• Develop and maintain code in a fast 3D game engine
• Implement cutting-edge technology in 3D graphics to games across platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, artists and other engineers
• Contribute and innovative original ideas toward all aspects of our 3D technology
• Maintain code performance through profiling and optimization
• Provide direction for the code architecture of a next-gen game engine
• Write clear technical design and specification documents
• Encourage an open and free-thinking team atmosphere by accepting and providing direction and feedback to/from other team members
• Participate and engage with the entire production team to stay current on the scope and understanding of the project

Requirements

• Expertise in C++
• Must have previous Graphics/Rendering experience
• Able to implement modern rendering algorithms and is familiar with rendering techniques (volumetrics, lighting, shadows, decals, particles, reflections, PBR workflow etc.)
• B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent game development experience.
• Strong communication skills, work ethic and motivation
