Director of Accounting and Finance / Controller - Remote

Overview

Dietitian Live is seeking a skilled and motivated Director of Accounting and Finance to oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial activities.

In Short

• Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and maintain general ledger integrity.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes and analyze variances.
• Collaborate with COO to streamline Salesforce reporting capabilities.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
• Manage cash flow and track transactions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and prepare required tax documents.
• Provide financial analysis and ad hoc reports as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience in managing books for multiple entities is preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience with Accounting Seed preferred.
• Salesforce reporting experience is highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
