Biostatistician / Medical Writer (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a scientific employee with a solid background in empirical research, statistics, and scientific writing to guide our doctoral candidates in the medical field through the entire scientific process—from topic development to the final dissertation.

In Short

• Support medical professionals throughout the doctoral process (writing, evaluation, methodology, structuring)
• Assist with statistical and content analytical evaluations (e.g., SPSS, MAXQDA, R, or Python)
• Provide expert advice and feedback on scientific work and methodology
• Ensure quality assurance and scientific supervision of multiple ongoing projects
• Utilize modern AI tools to enhance efficiency in research and writing processes
• Coordinate with internal project leaders and external supervisors (professors, chairs, research institutions)
• Ensure results, adherence to deadlines, and scientific quality

Requirements

• Completed Master's degree, ideally with a doctorate (preferably in the medical, psychological, or social sciences)
• Solid knowledge in statistics and/or content analysis
• Excellent scientific writing skills and high precision in writing
• Independent, results-oriented working style
• Resilience, clear communication, and assertiveness
• Enjoy structuring projects, guiding people, and ensuring results
