Senior Frontend Engineer - Remote

With Decentriq, advertisers, retailers and publishers are collaborating on 1st party data for optimal audience targeting and campaign measurement. Headquartered in Zürich, Decentriq has gained the trust from renowned institutions in the DACH market and beyond, such as RTL Ad Alliance, Publicis Media or PostFinance.

Our web-application UI is the window into all of this privacy-preserving magic. Built with React, TypeScript, GraphQL (Apollo/react-query), and Joy UI, it lets customers configure secure data jobs, explore results, and trigger ML workflows in a single click.

We are looking for an Senior Frontend Engineer (≥ 80 %, start as soon as possible) to elevate this experience. The role can be fully remote (± 4 h CET) or based in our Zürich/Berlin office.

• Design, Develop, and Test: Craft full-featured client-side applications using React and Joy UI.
• State Management for Interactive Data Applications: Tackle complex state management challenges.
• Client-Side Data Processing and Visualisation: Implement and optimize advanced client-side data processing.
• AI-Powered Productivity: Leverage LLM-based code assistants and automation tools.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with design, product management, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• (Must have) Master/Bachelor Degree or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of professional experience.
• (Must have) Good communications skills with fluency in English.
• (Must have) Extensive experience in Typescript, React, CSS3, and HTML5.
• (Must have) Proven record of building data-heavy UIs that stay responsive.
• (Plus) Experience with web applications involving heavy data processing and visualization.
• (Plus) Technical leadership experience.
• (Plus plus) Willingness to pick up Rust programming for simple backend changes.
