Overview

This role is for a SQL Database Administrator who will support a complex Air Force enterprise application by deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting SQL Server instances.

In Short

Full-time remote position.
Support of Air Force enterprise applications.
Deploy and maintain SQL Server instances.
Experience required in SQL Server from 2016-2022.
Active or Current DoD Secret Clearance needed.
Performance tuning and optimization experience required.
Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
Must work effectively with IT professionals and stakeholders.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
Experience with ticket management systems is preferred.

Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
Experience with SQL Profiler and performance tuning.
Active Security+ Certification is required.
Knowledge of Air Force Network environments is a plus.
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Familiarity with Gitlab or similar tools.
Experience in a Microsoft Azure environment is beneficial.
