We are looking for an experienced NOC Linux Specialist to support our Hunt: Showdown NetOps department. This role requires monitoring and troubleshooting of Crytek’s 24×7 gaming network across multiple data-centers, games, and platforms.

In Short

Monitoring and operation of the 24×7×365 hosted data-center environment.
Installation, configuration and patching of system and game software.
Work closely with R&D to install, configure and operate developed features.
Ensure accurate, up-to-date technical documentation is available.
Assist with process and policy development.
Operate and maintain a dynamic, highly available environment.
Requires working in shifts, including night shifts.

Requirements

Experience as a NOC Engineer or NOC Specialist.
Must be available to work in shifts.
Excellent written and verbal English.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP.
Linux administration experience.
Experience with automation/configuration management tools (Ansible preferred).
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies.
Database knowledge: Postgres, MariaDB, Redis, MongoDB.
Familiarity with DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, NGINX.
Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Shell, Perl, Python, etc.).

Benefits

Specific experience with Ubuntu/Debian Linux.
Experience with monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana).
Professional experience with Docker.
