Overview

The Data Protection Analyst at CrowdStrike will support a comprehensive data protection program, contributing to the implementation of data labeling mechanisms and assisting in data cataloging and mapping efforts.

In Short

  • Support Data Protection initiatives and provide operational assistance.
  • Triage DLP events and ensure tool effectiveness.
  • Assist in translating data classification frameworks into technical labels.
  • Support configuration and tuning of Data Protection solutions.
  • Map and catalog data across various environments.
  • Support investigations by the Internal Investigations team.
  • Enforce data handling standards and retention schedules.
  • Contribute to data protection and security duties as assigned.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and eDiscovery processes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data protection and/or data loss prevention.
  • 1+ years of experience with CrowdStrike Falcon for Data Protection products.
  • 1+ year experience in information security/cybersecurity.
  • 1+ year experience in a SIEM query language.
  • Foundational understanding of Data Protection technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field.
  • Relevant certifications preferred.
