Billing Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Billing Analyst will ensure accurate and efficient billing processes while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role requires proactive communication with staff and clients, meticulous review of billing activities, and effective resolution of discrepancies to support organizational financial objectives.

• Review and post invoices created by the transportation department.
• Verify receipts daily to ensure proper application to invoices.
• Manage the department email for timely responses to inquiries.
• Generate and review monthly reports on unpaid invoices.
• Input collection data into the system for tax return and accounting projects.
• Monitor overdue balances and send collection letters as required.
• Identify and resolve open WIP items for canceled or completed projects.
• Provide training to staff on billing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with billing policies.
• Collaborate across departments to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Experience in Practice CS.
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility to adapt to new processes.
• Ability to work effectively with teams.
