Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Android Engineer (1099 contractor) to help architect and build the next generation of our native mobile apps over the coming 6+ months.

In Short

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to define a compelling UX.
Write code for app design, features, components, and integrations.
Provide Android mobile app expertise to improve development practices.
Work with stakeholders on initiatives aligning with KPIs.
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
Participate in standard engineering practices.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends.

Requirements

5+ years of professional mobile development experience.
Proficient in Kotlin.
Deep understanding of mobile app UX best practices.
Ability to propose and refine UX/product solutions.
Proficiency in coding design mocks in-app using Kotlin.
Experience working independently in an iterative environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
